Stupidity doesn't quite explain it

In a recent poll, 57% of Republicans found the American Covid-19 death toll to be "acceptable".

Presumably, some of those idiots lost family members to the virus, which pretty much proves they are a death cult, and would happily kill anyone who is not part of their cult - if they don't care about their own family members dying, why does anyone believe they care about anything? This is not ignorance, it's abject evil, to be expected by a group of sick weirdos who seemingly have zero problems caging and torturing toddlers. They are beyond salvation.

Last night, I steeled myself to watch some of the Republican propaganda fest, and it was entirely disgusting. Donnie Jr. and his girlfriend were hitting the Bolivian nose candy (rather obviously), and the fact that the dictator's idiot son and his idiot girlfriend were official screamers pretty much says it all - an orgy of fear, racism, ugliness, crass lies, paranoia and screaming stupidity. This country will never recover from the damage done over the last couple of decades, this is the century of the end of the American empire.

"As an example today, August 1st 2020, some of our post offices received zero mail for delivery. Letter carriers in those stations received parcels for delivery only. This is a problem which is being manufactured from the top of the leadership pyramid.

"Recently, we received a new postmaster general who is instituting changes, and it is these changes, that are driving the non-delivery of mail.

"I have been with the postal service going on 33 years and I have never seen a day like today, where zero mail showed up at the post office for delivery. I have lived through severe snow storms, the ice storm of 1991, 2020 pandemic, riots, hurricanes, etc. The list goes on and on, and through all of these issues, and all of these national or local emergencies, the mail still went through.

"With the hiring of a single individual who has never had anything to do with the postal service, and has zero postal experience, we are now seeing days where mail does not show up.

"I know you, the mailing public, find this completely unacceptable. Please understand your letter carrier also finds this completely unacceptable. We ask you to stand with us in support of your postal service and contact your congress-member to let them know you find this unacceptable and demand answers.

"Calling the postal service to complain will do nothing. You need to go further and contact Congress. This is your postal service, and once it's gone, it will be extremely expensive to send a letter across the country. We're not talking cents, we're talking dollars. If we sit by and do nothing, the postal service will be gone and you'll never get it back.

"For the first time in 33 years I am worried. I am concerned for the future of the mail delivery, the careers of 700,000 employees and for the service that we provide the American public everyday.

" I would appreciate everyone that would share this message and contact their congress-member to save the Post Office.

In the final week of online summer session classes, a storm hit my area and knocked out power from Tuesday early afternoon to just a little while ago, Friday night. I feel terrible for missing so many classes (8), but a few of the students sent me their final videos, and their work is brilliant!

The virus is far more complex than originally imagined.

Blood clots, for example, are showing up in cases of COVID-19 frequently enough for clinicians to take notice. “There’s something unique about the coagulation system in these patients,” says nephrologist Kathleen Liu, MD ’99, PhD ’97, MAS ’07, a UCSF professor of medicine. In caring for COVID-19 patients on dialysis machines, she’s been surprised to see blood clots block dialysis tubes more than usual. Clotted tubes are common, she says, “but this is extreme.” 

That may be because, as growing evidence suggests, SARS-CoV-2 can infect cells in the walls of blood vessels that help regulate blood flow and coagulation, or clotting. If true, this behavior could explain some of the virus’s weirder (and rarer) manifestations, such as heart attacks, strokes, and even “COVID toes.””

American Gestapo kidnapping American citizens

I think this is what finally totally broke me this weekend, the realization that there is simply no coming back from this - my gut tells me this is what will be happening across the country on Election Day in November, the targeted detention of enough civilians to throw the numbers towards the dictator. Folks have forgotten the Electoral College was won by a total of just over 80,000 votes in a few key states in 2016, Clinton won the popular vote by more than three million, made zero difference in the end. The Gestapo could easily detain 100,000 people for 24 hours, and that would do it, the Republican terrorists would take over permanently.

And since I posted that on Fakebook last weekend, the douchetator™ is now planning on sending his Gestapo forces into any city being governed by Democrats, even if the governors refuse to comply. We are now in open warfare, all facades are gone.

Banned from FaceBook, I rise from the digital dead

So it's a decade after my last post, and I am now living inside of the nightmare I so readily predicted on my former show Angry Human: the United States has fallen, we are now a full-bore kleptocracy being destroyed by a sociopathic, insecure, petty, insane rapist, conman, "reality television" putz with a deep seated hatred of everyone who is not him, with the sole exception of the daughter he has installed in the Gray House. A pandemic is ravaging my country, and we are now banned from entering most of the rest of the world - the wall doesn't exist, but it might as well, as we are all now trapped inside of this shithole country with no hope for escape. Riots in most major cities, armed, unmarked Gestapo roaming the streets and kidnapping innocent civilians, black people being publicly, brazenly murdered by "law officers", a treasury being openly sacked, a double-digit percentage of families about to be evicted from their meager homes, it's a science-fiction movie playing out in realtime, and I'm watching it all unfold in ways my darkest thoughts never imagined.

Once Facebook restores my access, I will simply point everyone over here, as I don't intend to censor myself for their Russian-programmed bots, I've had it with their underhanded shenanigans. I'm going to rev up this blog over the next few months, and satisfy my editorial yearnings outside of their foul ecosystem, so bookmark this page, folks, I'll be indulging my many interests here and look forward to seeing your names in my comments sections.
